In an ever changing industry, Cheer and Dance Industry Professionals (CDIP) was created in 2009 as a trade organization to support members in our industry for future success. Our support for those in the industry also includes our industry’s judges.

The CDIP believes that our judges are critical to the success of our industry; however, our judges lack the opportunity to organize, network, and have representation.

Why Does Our Industry Need a Judges Association?

The goal of the CDIP Judges’ Association is to provide networking, educational, and professional opportunities while maintaining the highest adjudicating standards in the industry. The Association is open to any professional seeking to advance in the judging profession. Becoming a member of the Association does not limit your ability to accept contract assignments with non-CDIP event producers.

CDIP Event Adjudication

The CDIP proposes to offer a centralized directory to judges and event producers. Judges can choose from over 200 events scheduled by event producers!

The Online directory would also include contract execution outlining even producer expectations, benefits for services references such as compensation, travel arrangements, expense reimbursement, and more!

Professional Development

Earn professional development credits through webinars, judging live and/or virtual events, and conference educational tracks. Credits will be used towards testing exemptions and membership rewards.

Judges Appreciation Awards will be voted by members and event producers.
